The Meta Research PhD Fellowship supports doctoral students conducting research in computer science and engineering fields relevant to Meta. Run by Meta (formerly Facebook), it funds recipients at their own accredited university anywhere in the world, letting them continue their existing PhD work. Awardees join an annual Fellowship Summit and connect directly with Meta researchers. Applicants choose one research area from more than twenty topics spanning artificial intelligence, systems, networking, privacy, and AR/VR.

Eligibility
