The MCQST Summer Bachelor Program gives undergraduates from around the world four weeks of hands-on research experience in quantum science and technology. It is run by the Munich Center for Quantum Science and Technology (MCQST), a research cluster funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) under Germany’s Excellence Strategy. Participants join a research group at MCQST and its partner institutes in Munich, work on a supervised project, and take part in a welcome retreat and social program. The 2026 edition runs 1–29 August 2026, with a welcome retreat on 1–4 August. The program is conducted entirely in English; German is not required.
