The MBRIF Innovation Accelerator is a six-month program run by the Mohammed bin Rashid Innovation Fund, a federal initiative launched by the UAE Ministry of Finance. It gives high-potential innovative companies tailored coaching, expert support and connections intended to help them grow and scale.

Companies may apply from the UAE or abroad. The program is designed for innovations already in the market or ready to launch, with support focused on growth and access to the UAE ecosystem.

Benefits & funding

  • Participation has no membership or success fee, and MBRIF takes no equity.
  • Each company receives a tailored plan and coaching matched to its most pressing needs.
  • Members gain access to experts, training, public- and private-sector stakeholders, investors and strategic partners.
  • The program provides services and connections rather than a stated cash award.

Eligibility

  • Companies may be based in the UAE or abroad; international applicants do not have to relocate, but the business must be UAE-based or intend to establish a UAE business presence.
  • The innovation must be beyond the idea stage and show strong market potential.
  • MBRIF typically looks for a working prototype, and its services are aimed at innovations already launched or ready to launch.
  • All sectors may apply, with priority given to technology, education, water, transport, clean energy, health and space.
  • There is no age or nationality requirement and no degree requirement.
