BI Norwegian Business School awards this entrance scholarship to academically strong international applicants entering their first MSc at Campus Oslo. The published 2026 cycle is tied to a full-time Oslo MSc beginning in autumn 2026.
It supports tuition for one year or up to two years, subject to academic progress. The scholarship is merit-based and is considered together with a complete admission application.
Benefits & funding
- Full tuition fees for up to two years, provided the recipient meets BI’s academic progression requirements.
- Some recipients receive tuition coverage for one year instead.
- Continuation requires 30 ECTS each semester and a minimum cumulative B average after every semester.
- BI lists tuition coverage for this award; living expenses are not included in the published benefit.
Eligibility
- International citizenship and residence outside Norway are required; Norwegian citizens and residents of Norway are not eligible.
- Applicants need a minimum overall GPA of 4.0 on the ECTS scale; BI converts grades from international education.
- Applicants must be admitted to their first Master of Science degree at BI’s Oslo campus for autumn 2026 and must accept the admission offer.
- Applicants with a bachelor’s degree completed in Norway, or those treated as domestic applicants because they qualify for Norwegian tuition reduction or a Lånekassen loan, are not eligible.
- Admission normally requires a completed 180-ECTS bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or economics, or at least 80 relevant ECTS for the chosen specialisation; programme-specific requirements also apply.
- Applicants educated outside the Nordic countries must meet BI’s applicable GMAT or GRE and English-test rules unless a waiver applies; required tests for scholarship consideration must be completed before 1 March.

Application process
- 1Choose an eligible full-time Master of Science programme at BI’s Oslo campus and check its programme-specific admission requirements.
- 2Start the admission application in BI’s online portal and request scholarship consideration at the same time; BI states that the full-time portal opens on 1 November.
- 3Upload the complete admission documents, a CV or resume and a scholarship letter of no more than one page as one PDF in the Scholarship section.
- 4Submit the complete application by 1 March; scholarship applications are not accepted by email or after the deadline.
- 5Accept the admission offer so the scholarship application can be considered.
