The Macro Research Fellowship is an academic-year interdisciplinary program run by the Macro Institute for Social Policy Advancement. The 2026–2027 cohort examines mental health, artificial intelligence, and public policy through research tracks on access, digital surveillance, and telehealth.
U.S.-based undergraduate and graduate students and recent graduates conduct research remotely, receive monthly mentorship, and may present their work in Washington, D.C. The program is intended to build policy-research skills through an original policy brief and engagement with practitioners and community stakeholders. Applications are closed, and the official page says the next cohort will reopen in Spring 2027.
