NYU Wagner awards this merit-based scholarship to up to two qualifying LFA/ACC members or alumni entering the MUP or MPA. It supports either full-time or part-time study and is available only for fall enrollment.
Applicants use the normal NYU Wagner admissions application; there is no separate scholarship essay. Selection is based on fit with the scholarship and the strength of the submitted application.
Benefits & funding
- Half-tuition scholarship for up to two recipients.
- Application-fee waiver for all LFA/ACC members, regardless of entry semester; the scholarship itself is limited to fall enrollment.
- NYU Wagner does not match the Segal Education Award.
Eligibility
- Be a current or former Lead for America or American Connection Corps member.
- Apply for fall entry to the Master of Urban Planning or Master of Public Administration, either full-time or part-time.
- Complete the qualifying service term before the fall semester begins.
- Hold a four-year bachelor’s degree or an equivalent international qualification before enrolling in the master’s program.
