The Laidlaw Women’s Leadership Fund is a London Business School scholarship programme funded by the Laidlaw Foundation. It distributes 20 awards across the Masters in Management, MBA and Executive MBA programmes.
Recipients study through LBS in London or, for the Dubai EMBA route, Dubai, and join the wider Laidlaw Scholars Network. The official pages reviewed still describe the 2024 and 2025 cycles and do not publish current 2026 dates, so this record is marked as reopening.
Benefits & funding
- Four Masters in Management awards cover 100% of tuition fees.
- Twelve MBA awards cover either 50% or 100% of tuition fees.
- Four Executive MBA awards cover 50% of tuition fees.
- Recipients join a cross-generational Laidlaw Scholars Network.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be women who have applied to the LBS Masters in Management, MBA, or Executive MBA London or Dubai stream and have been invited to interview.
- Admission to the chosen degree programme is a separate requirement, and LBS will not review a scholarship application without the corresponding programme application.
- Successful candidates must demonstrate financial need; LBS also identifies academic merit, leadership potential, or significant past financial hardship as relevant.
- The public scholarship pages state no nationality, residency, or age restriction; each degree programme’s separate admissions rules still apply.
