Laidlaw Women’s Leadership Fund — Master's Scholarship

The Laidlaw Women’s Leadership Fund is a London Business School scholarship paid for by the Laidlaw Foundation. Each year it supports 20 women across the Masters in Management, MBA and Executive MBA.

Scholars study at LBS in London, or in Dubai on the Executive MBA Dubai stream, and join the Laidlaw Scholars Network. The fund’s pages still describe the 2024 and 2025 intakes; no date for the current round is published.

Benefits & funding

Masters in Management: 4 awards of 100% of tuition (2026 intake fee: £52,950).
MBA: 12 awards of 50% or 100% of tuition (2026 intake fee: £123,950).
Executive MBA: 4 awards of 50% of tuition.
LBS news (April 2025) says Laidlaw support also provides living stipends; no amount is given.
Membership of the Laidlaw Scholars Network.

Eligibility

Women only.
You must have applied to the MiM, MBA, or Executive MBA (London or Dubai stream) and been invited to interview.
You must demonstrate financial need; LBS also looks for academic merit and leadership potential (significant past financial hardship also counts).
Admission to the degree is decided separately; MiM applicants must finish their undergraduate degree before the programme starts.

Submit your programme’s scholarship form: three 250-word essays plus your own and your parents’, guardians’ or carers’ financial and educational background.
