The KTH Joint Programme Scholarship supports fee-paying students in specified joint master’s programmes who will study at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. It covers the part of the programme spent at KTH, which must be one or two semesters beginning in autumn 2026.

Eligible routes are COSSE, DENSYS, EIT Digital, Innovative Sustainable Energy Engineering, and Transport Mobility and Innovation, with additional restrictions for DENSYS and EIT Digital. The scholarship is annual, and the most recent application cycle ran from 1 to 15 April 2026.

Benefits & funding

  • Covers the tuition fee for the one or two semesters spent at KTH.
  • Does not cover living costs.

Eligibility

  • Be a fee-paying student under the Swedish University Admissions definition.
  • Attend one or two semesters at KTH beginning in autumn 2026 through COSSE, DENSYS, EIT Digital, Innovative Sustainable Energy Engineering, or Transport Mobility and Innovation.
  • DENSYS applicants must not hold an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship or a DENSYS consortium scholarship.
  • EIT Digital applicants must start their first semester at KTH as period 1 applicants or their third semester at KTH, pay the registration fee by 13 April if starting at KTH, and hold no full or partial EIT Digital consortium scholarship.
  • Applicants in Molecular Techniques in Life Science or Biostatistics and Data Science must use the KTH Scholarship instead; Mathematics applicants apply through Stockholm University. Other EIT programmes and Erasmus Mundus Scholarship holders are ineligible.

Application process

    Complete the online scholarship application linked from the official page while the cycle is open.

    If attending KTH in the first year without applying through universityadmissions.se, email scans of the original bachelor’s degree and transcripts, with official English translations where needed, to info@kth.se during the application period.

    If attending KTH in the second year, email transcripts from the first year of the joint programme to info@kth.se.
