K3 – Zentrum für Choreographie | Tanzplan Hamburg runs an eight-month residency for choreographers at the start of their professional careers. Three residents are selected each season and work in Hamburg, based at Kampnagel, developing a new full-length choreographic piece that is publicly presented at the end of the residency. The programme pairs studio time and production resources with mentoring and dramaturgical support. It is open to applicants from all over the world who have already produced a few first works of their own. The current call is for the 2027/2028 season, running roughly August 2027 to April 2028.
