Jóvenes Líderes Iberoamericanos is an annual leadership program organized by Fundación Carolina and Banco Santander. It brings 25 recent graduates to Madrid, Cádiz, and Brussels for conferences, institutional visits, debates, and professional networking.
The two-week agenda introduces participants to Spanish and European institutions and examines political, social, economic, technological, and environmental challenges. The program also builds an interdisciplinary network intended to strengthen cooperation across Ibero-America.

- The scholarship covers travel to Madrid from the capital of each Latin American or Portuguese participant’s country, and from the city of residence for Spanish participants.
- University-residence accommodation, meals, and travel during the program are covered.
- Each participant receives a completion diploma.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be nationals of Argentina, Andorra, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, the Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Venezuela, Spain, or Portugal.
- They must hold a university degree or equivalent obtained after 2023-10-01.
- They must be no older than 27 when registering.
- A strong academic record, community involvement, and demonstrated social and leadership skills are required.
- No residency, gender, or work-experience requirement is stated.

- 2Register separately on Santander Open Academy using the same email address and complete its application form.
- 3Upload a university-certified degree certificate, a university-certified academic transcript, and a university endorsement letter.
