The Joseph L. Rotman Scholarship is an annual entrance award administered by the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. It covers the full tuition value of the MBA, and no separate scholarship application is required.

The recipient joins Rotman’s 20-month, in-person Full-Time MBA in Toronto. Rotman selects one entrant from the MBA applicant pool through a holistic merit review.

  • One exceptional entering student receives the award each year.
  • Living expenses, incidental fees, and compulsory ancillary fees are not stated as covered.

Eligibility

  • Apply to the Rotman Full-Time MBA; every completed MBA application is automatically considered for this scholarship.
  • Hold a recognized four-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least a 3.0 GPA, or mid-B average, in the final year.
  • Have at least two years of full-time work experience, except where Rotman permits an exception for certain combined-degree applicants.
  • Meet Rotman’s English-proficiency and GMAT or GRE requirements, unless an official exemption applies.
  • Rotman recruits the Full-Time MBA class worldwide and states no nationality or residency restriction for this scholarship.

Application process

    Submit the MBA application and required components, including transcripts, test information, résumé, and two professional references, by the chosen round deadline.

    Complete the two timed written questions within seven days after Rotman sends the invitation.

    Continue through any requested video or admissions interview stages; there is no separate scholarship form.
