Benefits & funding

• A 20% contribution toward tuition fees each term for the duration of the eligible program.
• The contribution is applied directly to the student account; no cash payment is made.
• The award may be combined with another scholarship that does not cover full tuition, but not with special offers or fee arrangements under the Sponsor Partners Program.
• The admission deposit is unchanged.

Eligibility

• Applicants must be new students commencing full-time study in 2026 or 2027 and hold an admission offer for an eligible UNSW diploma, undergraduate, or postgraduate coursework program.
• AGSM, UNSW Online, UNSW Canberra, UNSW Foundation Programs, Transition Program Online, Hexamester-calendar programs, and Study Abroad are excluded. An online start is allowed only for a program normally offered on campus.
• Current UNSW students are ineligible, except those who have completed a UNSW undergraduate program and are commencing a postgraduate program.
• Tuition must be payable to UNSW. For a combined coursework and research degree, the award applies only to the coursework component.
• Recipients must maintain full-time enrolment in an eligible program and have no outstanding fees.

Application process

   Apply for an eligible UNSW coursework program through the UNSW Applicant Portal and receive an admission offer.
2. 2
   Submit a personal statement of no more than 500 words explaining the reasons for studying the proposed program at UNSW. New applicants upload it with their admission application; existing offer holders use the Applicant Portal or myUNSW where applicable.
3. 3
   Accept the admission offer through Accept Online. UNSW sends the award confirmation by email.

Program timeline

1. General new overseas student applications have exhausted their allocation and are closed, while listed exempt cohorts remain eligible to apply.

   2026 intakes

2. UNSW admissions applications are open; the relevant admission deadline depends on the chosen program and intake.

   2027 terms

3. With the admission application or after an offer

   Submit the personal statement of no more than 500 words.

4. Within two days of a new applicant’s admission offer

   Expected award confirmation by email.

5. Within two weeks after an existing offer holder uploads the statement

   Expected award confirmation.

6. The tuition contribution begins; the award cannot be deferred.
