The InTent Internship Programme (IIP) places students with startups and NGOs building fairer, nature-positive and more resilient ways of doing business. InTent pays for the internship, so the host organisation gains a skilled intern at no cost while the student is paid for the summer.
InTent is a Swiss platform for sustainable prosperity, co-founded by André Hoffmann and Rosalie Hoffmann and based at Impact Hub Geneva. It recruits the host organisations first — 24 of them for the 2026 edition — and then opens student applications for the positions those organisations need filled.
Placements run two to three months across the northern summer, either from the host organisation’s office or virtually, depending on the location and local legal requirements. Interns close the programme by presenting their project results at InTent’s SEED Impact Summit in late September.
Benefits & funding
- A fully paid internship of two to three months, sponsored by InTent rather than by the host organisation.
- Selected projects can receive an additional fully funded three-month extension.
- Project work inside an impact-driven startup or NGO; 24 host organisations take part in the 2026 edition.
- Access to InTent’s network of purpose-driven organisations, with support during the internship and afterwards.
- A place on the programme at the SEED Impact Summit on 24–25 September 2026, where interns present their results.
- InTent does not publish the stipend figure, nor whether travel, visa or accommodation costs are covered.
Eligibility
- Enrolled Bachelor, Master, MBA or PhD students.
- Fields of study vary with what each year’s projects need.
- No nationality, residency, age or language requirement is published.
- Availability for the full placement: a start date between 5 June and 1 July 2026, with the programme ending 30 September 2026.
- Readiness to work either on site at the host organisation or virtually, depending on the placement’s location and local legal requirements.
