The Ilia Calderón Scholarship is run by One Young World in partnership with the Jang Calderón Family Foundation. It funds two young leaders from Latin America and the Caribbean to attend the One Young World Summit 2026, held in Cape Town, South Africa from 3 to 6 November 2026. One Young World is a London-based global NGO with a network of more than 20,500 members, including over 18,000 young leaders who serve as its Ambassadors.

The scholarship is aimed at people leading innovative, high-impact initiatives in their own communities and regions. Scholars travel to the Summit with all core costs covered, and plenary sessions are translated from English into Spanish. The 2026 application window ran from 7 May to 15 June 2026.
