IESE Business School offers this merit scholarship to African nationals applying to its Master in Management. Up to three recipients receive tuition support for the 11-month, full-time program in Madrid.
The MiM is designed for recent university graduates preparing for management careers. The September 2027 intake is open, and scholarship candidacies are reviewed on a rolling basis within the MiM admissions process.

Eligibility
- Applicants must be nationals of an African country or territory: Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cabo Verde, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, São Tomé and Príncipe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Western Sahara, Zambia or Zimbabwe.
- Scholarship selection requires an outstanding academic record, leadership potential and personal merit.
- MiM admission requires an official university degree, transcripts, a GMAT, GRE or IESE Test result, a CV, one recommendation, mandatory essays and the other items listed in the online application.
- Non-native English speakers must submit an accepted English test; IESE lists TOEFL 100, IELTS 7.0, Cambridge Proficiency or PTE Academic 68.
- No prior work experience is required for the MiM; IESE describes its target profile as recent graduates with no more than two years of experience.

Application process

- 2Include the required scholarship cover letter within the MiM application.
- 3Complete the admissions interview if invited; it may be virtual or at IESE’s Madrid campus and is conducted in English.
- 4Await the admissions decision by email; IESE aims to decide complete applications in about four to six weeks.
