The International Writers’ Workshop (IWW), founded in 2004 at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), hosts international writers on campus in Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong. Its 2027 Writers-in-Residence Programme brings selected published writers to HKBU for a four-week residency from 26 February to 25 March 2027. The residency centres on creative exchange with students and the local literary community and culminates in the IWW Literary Festival, whose 2027 theme is “Inheritance.” To date the workshop has hosted more than 150 writers from over 60 countries.
