Official Page

The Helene Fuld Health Trust Scholarship supports students already accepted into Colby-Sawyer College’s Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Six students in each cohort receive tuition support while completing the 16-month, four-semester program.

The ABSN is taught in person in New London, New Hampshire, with clinical education at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. It is designed for career-changers who already hold a bachelor’s degree in a field other than nursing.

Benefits & funding

  • Each recipient receives $6,000 toward tuition.
  • The award is disbursed in four installments of $1,500, one per semester.
  • Six ABSN students are selected in each cohort.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must first be accepted into Colby-Sawyer’s ABSN program.
  • Applicants must submit the FAFSA; federal aid eligibility uses U.S. citizen or eligible-noncitizen status rather than a simple nationality list.
  • ABSN admission requires a bachelor’s degree in any field, an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 and the stated prerequisite courses and grades.
  • Scholarship applicants must submit all requested identifying information and both essays.
