The HEC Paris MBA Scholarship for Excellence is a merit award for candidates admitted to the HEC Paris MBA. Every admitted candidate is considered automatically, so there is no separate scholarship application.
Recipients join HEC Paris’s full-time MBA in France, following either a 12-month or 16-month route. The scholarship supports candidates with strong academic records, applications, interviews and GMAT performance.
Benefits & funding
- The award can cover up to 50% of MBA tuition; the Scholarship Committee determines each recipient’s amount.
- The award is deducted from the final tuition installment.
- For a Double Degree, the award is calculated proportionally.
- The scholarship may be combined with other awards when their individual rules allow, but the combined HEC Excellence, Forté Foundation, ARD and Paris-Saclay scholarships cannot exceed 50% of tuition.
Eligibility
- Applicants of any nationality or residence may be considered after admission to the HEC Paris MBA.
- Candidates receiving more than 50% of tuition from a company or government sponsor are not eligible.
- The standard MBA route requires an undergraduate degree from an accredited university; HEC Paris may waive this for a national-level athlete or for a candidate with secondary education, at least five years of professional experience and at least three years in management.
- HEC Paris states no absolute work-experience minimum for degree holders, although it strongly encourages at least two years.
- A complete MBA application requires the application form, essays, two recommendations, an English résumé, a photo, academic records, identity documents, an accepted management-test score and, when required, an English-language test.
