Harvard World Model United Nations (WorldMUN) is a college-level Model UN conference run by Harvard students that moves to a different city each year; the 2026 session was in Lima.
The 2027 session runs in Riga, Latvia, from 14 to 18 March 2027. Delegates debate in about twenty simulated UN committees, with social events each evening.
Benefits & funding
- No award by default: a flat, non-refundable $100 registration fee per delegation, plus a per-person delegate fee that rises as the conference nears.
- Financial aid, applied for through Gavelling, covers registration and delegate fees for successful applicants.
- Accommodation, meals and travel are not covered.
Eligibility
- Any nationality; individuals can register as a one-person delegation, and need not represent their university.
- The FAQ admits delegates enrolled in university or aged 18–25 at the conference, but also says anyone not enrolled in university, or under 18 on the first day, will be turned away even after paying.
