The University of Alberta’s Gold Standard Scholarship is an admission-based entrance award for new undergraduate applicants. The university compares high school admission averages within each faculty and considers candidates automatically when they apply for admission.
Recipients undertake in-person undergraduate study at University of Alberta campuses in Edmonton or Camrose, Canada. Eligible students are contacted directly, and no separate scholarship application is required.

- Recipients may receive up to CAN $6,000.
- The award amount depends on the applicant’s admission average, with consideration limited to the top 5% of students in each faculty.

- Present a high school admission average that places the applicant among the top 5% considered within the admitting faculty at the time of the admission offer.
- No separate scholarship application is required.
