The Global FinTech Hackcelerator is an annual startup programme organised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the Global Finance & Technology Network. It seeks market-ready fintech solutions for one of three corporate problem statements covering adaptive credit and fraud risk modelling, digital private banking, and SME insurance protection.
Up to 20 finalists join a virtual programme from September to November before mandatory sessions and pitching in Singapore. The programme connects finalists with corporate champions, mentors, investors, and potential pilot partners.
Benefits & funding
- Each finalist team receives an SGD 20,000 stipend to offset travel and accommodation for the Singapore programme.
- Each of the three winning teams receives SGD 80,000 in prize money.
- Finalists receive a complimentary exhibition kiosk at Singapore FinTech Festival 2026.
- The programme includes senior-industry mentorship, masterclasses, investor meetings, networking, and potential pilot discussions with corporate champions.
- Applying is free, and the finalist programme does not require equity dilution.
