Georgia Brain Bee — Course / Training

Georgia Brain Bee is an annual neuroscience competition coordinated by the International Center for Neuroscience Research in Tbilisi. It serves students enrolled at accredited high schools in Georgia through local events held each spring.

Local winners advance to the Georgia National Brain Bee Championship. The national winner represents Georgia at the International Brain Bee World Championship.

Benefits & funding

The official Georgia program page lists no participation fee; no cash award or travel funding is published.
The top 10–15 performers across the two rounds in the described 2025 format were invited to an intensive Neuroscience Training School.
The national winner earns the opportunity to represent Georgia at the International Brain Bee World Championship.

Eligibility

Applicants must be 13–19 years old.
Applicants must be enrolled at an accredited high school in Georgia; the official page does not state a nationality requirement.
A student may enter only one local Brain Bee per year.
A student may compete at the national and world championship levels only once.
