The GCC Qatari Certificate Scholarships are non-competitive undergraduate awards from Qatar University. They support nationals of Gulf Cooperation Council member states who earned a Qatari Secondary Education certificate and are admitted to an eligible bachelor’s program in Doha.
The award removes tuition charges across the recipient’s approved study plan. The Fall 2026 application period has ended, and Qatar University has not announced dates for the next cycle.

- Coverage applies to fall, spring, and summer or winter terms; summer and winter terms are not counted against the scholarship term total.
- The university lists no stipend or other cash benefit for this scholarship.
- Recipients remain responsible for penalties or fines caused by withdrawing from a course or semester.
Eligibility
- Be a national of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, or the United Arab Emirates.
- Hold a Qatari Secondary Education certificate.
- Meet the admission requirements of the chosen Qatar University college and secure admission for a bachelor’s program.
- Do not hold this scholarship together with another scholarship or sponsorship.
- All Qatar University bachelor’s majors are covered, subject to the chosen college’s admission requirements.
