The G&D Europe Scholarship was founded by EUR alumni Jan-Paul Vegt and Yonggao Liu, owners of G&D Europe B.V. It supports bachelor’s or master’s study in the Rotterdam School of Management or Erasmus School of Economics at EUR in Rotterdam.
For the 2026–2027 cycle, it was available to qualifying students entering an eligible study year on 1 September 2026. Applicants needed an offer from EUR or permission to progress to the next year.
Benefits & funding
- A one-time €3,000 payment covers part of the tuition fee.
- EUR receives the payment directly and deducts it from tuition; the award cannot be extended into the next study year.
Eligibility
- Hold a Chinese passport and have lived in China until starting the EUR programme, without previously living, studying, working, or interning outside China.
- Be entering the first, second, or third year of an EUR bachelor’s programme, or the first year of an EUR master’s programme, on 1 September 2026.
- Study in the Rotterdam School of Management or Erasmus School of Economics; programmes that begin outside the Netherlands before continuing in Rotterdam are ineligible.
- Have an EUR place offer or permission to progress, use the scholarship only for EUR bachelor’s or master’s education, and be willing to serve as a scholarship ambassador.
- Demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit in the motivation and meet all relevant bachelor’s or master’s admission requirements.
