The Future Scholars Scholarship is administered by Egypt’s Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and supported through a funding protocol with the Central Bank of Egypt. It enables academically strong students with demonstrated social need to pursue bachelor or licentiate study at participating Egyptian national universities.
Supported fields include medicine, nursing, veterinary medicine, engineering, computing and artificial intelligence, applied arts and design, agriculture, tourism, hospitality and archaeology. The scholarship is intended to widen access to university study and support students through graduation.
Benefits & funding
- Full tuition coverage through graduation, subject to continued compliance with scholarship requirements.
- Accommodation and living expenses through graduation.
- Four- to five-year bachelor or licentiate study at participating Egyptian national universities.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be Egyptian nationals.
- Applicants must have completed Egyptian general secondary education or STEM education at a government school and meet the academic threshold announced for the relevant faculty.
- Applicants must either benefit from the Takaful and Karama social-support initiative or have received a Ministry of Education fee exemption.
- Applicants must have good conduct and must not have been dismissed for academic or disciplinary reasons.
- Applicants may not hold another scholarship funded by another organization at the same time.
- The student and a parent or guardian must provide the required documents and sign the application declaration.

Application process
- 1Open the official portal and sign in with the student’s national identification number and the password shown on the secondary-school certificate.
- 2Complete the application on a computer, then select from the study preferences made available according to the student’s governorate and academic score.
- 3Upload the student’s and guardian’s identification documents and the signed declarations; documents must be PDF, images JPG, and each file no larger than 1 MB.
- 4If selected, sign the scholarship agreement and open an account with a bank licensed by the Central Bank of Egypt to receive accommodation and living payments.
