The Full-Ride Scholarship supports high-achieving Emirati graduates of United Arab Emirates University from a thesis-based Master’s degree through a PhD at UAEU. It is intended to expand research training in fields of strategic importance to the UAE.
Support lasts six years: two years for the Master’s and four years for the PhD. Awards depend on available budget, and meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee approval.

Eligibility
- Be a UAE national and hold a Bachelor’s degree from UAEU with a GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Have no employment or other financial sponsorship.
- Enroll full-time in a thesis-based Master’s program that leads to a PhD and remain available at UAEU for at least 40 hours per week for study or research.
- Propose a thesis in renewable energy, transportation, health, water, technology or space.
- Meet the chosen Master’s admission requirements, including its applicable language standard.
- If awarded, maintain a GPA of at least 3.5 during the Master’s and at least 3.3 during the PhD, with at least nine credits each semester.

Application process
