Experimental Labs is Magnum Foundation’s workshop program for photographers, writers, technologists, students, and other creative thinkers. It uses hands-on, cross-disciplinary sessions in New York City to explore new digital approaches to visual storytelling.
Themes have included data security, digital interventions, performance, and augmented reality. The current opportunities page does not list an open Experimental Labs call; the most recent directly documented call located was the 2018 Counter Histories, Alternative Narratives lab.
