Euroculture is a 120 ECTS Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in European Studies delivered by the Euroculture Consortium. Students examine European politics, culture, law, history, and society in a global context.
They study at at least two European partner universities, with an optional specialized second-year track at a partner outside Europe. The programme includes an academic or professional placement in the third semester.
Benefits & funding
- No Erasmus Mundus scholarships are available for the 2026–2028 intake; admitted students must self-finance or secure external funding.
- EU/EEA passport holders normally pay €1,625 per semester with the standard Consortium Waiver, or €6,500 for the full programme, excluding optional consortium insurance. Without the waiver, the total is €8,000.
- Non-EU/EEA passport holders pay €4,500 per semester, or €18,000 for the full programme, including required AON ICS Complete insurance.
- Participation fees cover university registration, study facilities, consortium support, degree arrangements, joint thesis supervision, the Intensive Programme, and applicable insurance. They exclude literature, accommodation, subsistence, travel, and fieldwork costs.
- Conditional support may include an Erasmus+ mobility grant of approximately €1,000, an Erasmus+ placement grant of approximately €1,500, and a third-country mobility grant of around €1,000; amounts and conditions vary.
Eligibility
- Applicants need a Bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognized institution in a relevant field and must demonstrate suitable academic quality, writing competence, motivation, and English proficiency.
- Applicants awaiting graduation may apply if they will complete the Bachelor degree before the programme begins.
- Accepted English evidence includes IELTS Academic 6.5 with no section below 6.5, TOEFL iBT 93, Cambridge CAE or CPE, Pearson PTE Academic 71 with writing at least 61, or LanguageCert Academic 75, subject to stated test-age and university conditions. Published exemptions apply to qualifying English-taught higher education.
- The programme publishes no general nationality, residency, age, gender, or work-experience requirement. International experience, mobility, relevant work, additional languages, personal competences, and extracurricular activity strengthen an application but are not hard gates.

Application process

- 2Select the preferred first-semester university and prepare the degree certificate, transcripts, English evidence or exemption proof, CV, identity document, photo, motivation letter, and any applicable research paper or thesis materials.
- 3Upload the complete application in English and submit it through the tool. Euroculture charges no application fee.
- 4The first-choice university assesses the file, with additional consortium review where needed. After evaluations begin, decisions are normally emailed four to six weeks after submission.
