The Entrepreneurial Spirit Scholarship supports prospective students entering the BSc in International Business Administration at RSM in Rotterdam. It was founded and funded by IBA alumni for students whose financial constraints could limit their participation.

The award combines fee and book support with donor mentoring and network access. Continued funding is reviewed yearly against academic progress, entrepreneurial engagement, and ambassador responsibilities.

Benefits & funding

  • The scholarship covers the annual statutory tuition fee of €2,694 for 2026–2027 and book fees of up to €700 each year.
  • Support can continue across all three years of IBA, subject to annual re-evaluation.
  • Recipients receive academic, professional, and personal mentoring from donors and access to their international network.

Eligibility

  • Be a prospective student starting RSM’s BSc International Business Administration in the 2026–2027 academic year and meet all BSc admission requirements.
  • Hold nationality of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, or Sweden, and be entitled to the statutory tuition fee.
  • Demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit and financial need, and be coachable and willing to expand your network and opportunities.
  • If selected, serve as a scholarship and RSM ambassador, support marketing initiatives, and mentor incoming scholarship students after graduation.

Application process

    Register for Bachelor International Business Administration in Studielink; this step must precede the scholarship application.
  2. 2
    Use the ERNA credentials sent after registration to enter RSM’s Online Application Form and indicate that you want to apply for a scholarship.

    Submit an entrepreneurial-dimension essay of no more than 850 words: 200 words on your meaning and experience of entrepreneurship, 200 on activities demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit, 200 on future plans, and 250 on why the mentoring and funding should be invested in you.

    Upload the Scholarship Financial Assessment Form explaining how you plan to finance years one, two, and three of IBA, then submit the complete form by the deadline.
