Egypt’s Brain Bee — Course / Training

Egypt’s Brain Bee is Egypt’s national-level neuroscience competition for high-school students, organized by the Alexandria Neuroscience Committee. Participants test their knowledge of the brain, neural pathways, neurological disorders, and neuroscience research.

The national winner becomes eligible to represent Egypt at the International Brain Bee World Championship. Egypt is listed as an active IBB country for 2026; the first two national stages are online and the final is held in Alexandria, though current cycle dates are not published.

Eligibility

Applicants must be Egyptian nationals currently attending high school in Egypt, including Thanaweya Amma, STEM, IGCSE/GCE, American, German, or an accepted equivalent.
Applicants must be 13–19 years old.
Both Egyptian nationality and current high-school enrollment in Egypt are required.
A student may enter only one Local Brain Bee and one National Brain Bee in a given year and may not also enter the IYNA Virtual Brain Bee.
