The Disability:IN NextGen Leaders Program is a competitive early-career program for students, veterans, and recent graduates with disabilities. It connects participants virtually with corporate mentors and recruiters.

The six-month experience is intended to build professional skills, networks, and readiness for corporate careers. Applications for the 2026 cohort are closed, and the next opening date has not been announced.

Benefits & funding

  • One-to-one virtual mentoring with a Disability:IN Corporate Partner for six months.
  • Opportunities to meet recruiters from leading companies and take part in webinars and group discussions.
  • Professional skill development and network building.
  • No participation fee.
  • Expected commitment of about 4 to 6 hours per month.

Eligibility

  • Current undergraduate, graduate, or law students, or recent graduates of an accredited North American or South American college or university.
  • Applicants must self-identify as having any type of disability.
  • There is no stated citizenship restriction. Non-U.S. citizens must be located in North or South America, hold the work authorization required for the United States and/or their intended country of employment, and be fluent in written and spoken English for business and mentoring communication.
  • No age or work-experience threshold is stated.
