IESE Business School runs the Development Scholarship for people admitted to its Advanced Management Program (AMP) or its Program for Management Development (PMD). The award backs participants who come from non-profit organizations or from schools associated with IESE and who work to have a positive impact in the world.
AMP is a seven-month executive route of four one-week modules plus an optional enrichment module, taught on the Madrid, Barcelona and Munich campuses. PMD runs five months in a hybrid format, with three residential modules in Barcelona and two online intermodules.
The scholarship is a second step, taken only once a candidate holds a place.
Benefits & funding
- One award is available every academic year.
- The award covers up to 50% of the tuition fee, the highest share among the five General Management scholarships IESE lists.
- AMP tuition is €46,000, or €53,200 with the optional enrichment module; PMD tuition is €31,500.
- The program fee covers tuition, course materials and most meals during residential modules; IESE lists no other cost as covered by the award.
- IESE separately publishes fee reductions of 10% for alumni and early-bird applicants and 5% for payment in full within 15 days of admission.
Eligibility
- Candidates must already be admitted to AMP or PMD before they apply for the scholarship.
- The award is aimed at participants from non-profit organizations (NGOs) and from IESE associated schools.
- Candidates fully or partially sponsored by their company are not eligible.
- Each application is for one specific program, and the award can only be used for that program.
- Admission to the program can be deferred; the scholarship cannot.
- PMD asks for five or more years of managerial experience, while AMP is aimed at C-suite and senior executives and publishes no stated minimum, so the experience bar follows the route you choose.
- IESE publishes no nationality, residency, age, gender or academic-degree requirement for this award.
