Official Page

The Davis UWC Scholars Program supports graduates of United World College schools who continue to undergraduate study at participating colleges and universities in the United States. The program was created by Shelby Davis and Phil Geier and works through more than 100 partner institutions.

Students apply to a partner university rather than to the scholarship program. An eligible student who completes the IBDP and is admitted may be nominated by the university for need-based support.

Benefits & funding

  • Need-based aid helps cover costs beyond the support the admitting university can provide.
  • The university combines program support with its own financial-aid package.
  • No fixed award amount or common support period is published; support depends on assessed need and the partner institution.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must complete the UWC International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
  • Applicants must gain admission to a participating college or university in the United States.
  • Applicants must request need-based financial aid when applying to the university.
  • There is no stated nationality, residency, gender, age, or work-experience restriction for the scholarship program.
