The CSIS Strategy and Statecraft Fellowship gathers experienced professionals from business, government, and academia to study strategy, foreign policy, and national security with senior officials and experts.
Run by the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the 2027 cohort meets for seven dinners in Washington, D.C., then closes with a multi-day summit outside the city in early 2028.

Eligibility
- U.S. citizens or permanent residents only.
- CSIS says each applicant should have ten or more years of experience in their career field.
- Based in the Washington, D.C. area, or able to travel there for the dinners at your own cost.
- Interest in national and international policy; a deep national-security or foreign-policy background is not needed.
- Some strategic, corporate, or policy planning experience is ideal, not required.
- Fellows must attend every dinner and the summit and keep up with 3–5 hours of reading a month.
