The Constellations Fellowship is run by Climate Curve (formerly the Global Warming Mitigation Project), the non-profit behind the Keeling Curve Prize. It connects students and recent graduates to professional, virtual internships within Climate Curve’s global network of Keeling Curve Prize laureates and finalists — climate-solution organizations working across energy, agriculture, transport and ecosystems. Fellows take on an entry-level role with one of these host organizations and gain hands-on professional development and career-building skills while contributing to real climate work. The program is fully remote, so fellows can take part from anywhere.
Benefits & funding
- 12–14 weeks of 100% remote, entry-level career experience with a climate organization in the Keeling Curve Prize network.
- Part-time commitment (one published position lists roughly 20 hours per week).
- Hands-on professional development, mentorship and exposure to leaders and innovators in climate action.
- A stipend is awarded to fellows on completing the fellowship; the public program pages do not state the amount, which is confirmed on the individual position application.
Eligibility
- Open to current students and recent graduates; the program describes itself as open to any qualified student.
- Fully remote, so fellows worldwide can apply (individual host positions may set their own course-of-study requirement — e.g. one role specifies a final-year undergraduate student).
- No nationality, residency, age or prior-experience requirement is stated for the program; roles are entry-level.
Application process
- 1Wait for a cohort to open — applications for Summer 2026 are closed, and the program asks applicants to check back in the fall for new opportunities.
- 2Browse the open positions across partner organizations on the Constellations positions page and choose a role that matches your interests and skills.
- 3Apply to the chosen position; general inquiries go to Program Manager Saige Middleton.
- 4Selected fellows are matched with a host organization for the 12–14-week remote term.
