CEIBS Welly Scholarship — Master's Scholarship

The CEIBS Welly Scholarship supports one incoming first-year MBA student each year at China Europe International Business School. Alumni LOU Zhouren and FAN Jie donated the scholarship, which began funding recipients in 2025.

The recipient joins the 12–16-month, full-time, English-taught CEIBS MBA in Shanghai. The scholarship is listed for applicants in Early Action, Round 1, or Round 2 and is awarded on merit.

Benefits & funding

One first-year MBA student receives RMB 60,000 each year.
The award is partial funding against MBA 2029 tuition of RMB 488,000; CEIBS does not state a separate cash-payment mechanism for this scholarship.

Eligibility

Apply to the CEIBS full-time MBA as an incoming first-year student in Early Action, Round 1, or Round 2.
Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher and have at least two years of full-time work experience.
Submit a GMAT, GRE, or CEIBS Admission Test score and demonstrate English proficiency.
CEIBS publishes no nationality, residency, gender, or age restriction for this scholarship.

Complete the CEIBS online MBA application; CEIBS states that this scholarship does not require an extra application form.

Submit the MBA form, essays, two recommendation letters, degree documents, transcript, identity document, fee receipt, test score, business card, and any applicable sponsor statement by an eligible-round deadline.

Attend an interview if shortlisted; the committee reviews the complete application and interview before making its decision.
