CEIBS Monthly Giving Scholarship is an annual award funded by alumni donations through the school’s monthly giving scheme. It supports newly entering students in the CEIBS full-time MBA in Shanghai.
Five recipients are selected each year on both merit and financial need. The current MBA Class of 2029 application cycle is for entry in 2027.
Benefits & funding
- RMB 100,000 for each recipient.
- Five awards for newly entering MBA students each year.
- This is partial funding relative to the published RMB 488,000 tuition for MBA 2029.
Eligibility
- Apply to the CEIBS full-time MBA for the 2027 intake through Early Action, Round 1, or Round 2.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or above and have at least two years of full-time work experience.
- Submit a GMAT, GRE, or CEIBS Admission Test score and demonstrate English proficiency.
- Scholarship selection is based on both merit and financial need.
- CEIBS states that its MBA financial aid serves domestic and international candidates; no nationality, residency, age, or gender restriction is published for this scholarship.

Application process
- 1Review the CEIBS MBA admission requirements.
- 2Complete the online MBA application by the Early Action, Round 1, or Round 2 deadline; CEIBS says no extra form is needed for this scholarship.
- 3Submit the MBA application form, two recommendation letters, degree certificate, transcript, ID or passport, application-fee receipt, official test score, business card, and a corporate sponsor statement if applicable.
- 4If shortlisted, complete the MBA interview; CEIBS then assesses the scholarship using merit and financial need.
