The Call for Solutions 2026 is Youth4Climate’s fourth funding round for new or existing youth-led climate solutions ready to implement or scale. The United Nations Development Programme and the Government of Italy co-lead Youth4Climate.
Individuals and youth-led entities propose projects for implementation in eligible UNDP programme countries and territories. The 2026 themes cover sustainable energy, food and agriculture, climate, peace and security, oceans and the blue economy, sustainable fashion and textiles, and architecture for adaptation.
Benefits & funding
- Applicants may request up to USD 30,000 in seed funding.
- Successful proposals may run for up to 24 months.
- During the application period, Youth4Climate offered deep-dive webinars, one-to-one technical support, project design bootcamps and learning resources.
Eligibility
- Individual applicants must be 18–29 when they apply.
- Eligible entities are legally registered youth-led civil society organizations, non-governmental organizations, community-based organizations or companies; most leaders and the project lead must be 18–29 at submission.
- The project lead must be a national of, and the project must be implemented in, one of the 158 UNDP-covered countries and territories listed in the call guidelines.
- The published call page states no degree, work-experience, residence or gender requirement.
