Official Page

ER.GO’s Borsa di studio is a public, competitive study grant for students entering or continuing eligible higher-education courses in Emilia-Romagna. It covers university, AFAM and other institutions named in the annual call, and international students follow dedicated documentation routes where relevant.

Applicants do not need to be enrolled before applying, but they must complete enrollment by their institution’s applicable deadline. The 2026/2027 application window has closed, and ER.GO requires a new application each academic year.

Benefits & funding

  • Base 2026/2027 cash awards range from €1,445.08 to €7,171.11 according to ISEE band and in-town, commuter or non-resident status.
  • Eligible recipients generally receive a full university-fee exemption and reimbursement of the €140 regional right-to-study tax; recipients at SSML Rimini, CIELS Bologna and BSMT receive only the tax refund.
  • Recipients may elect during the application to convert €200, €400, €500 or €600 of the award into prepaid meal credit.

Eligibility

  • Apply for the first or a later year of an eligible university, AFAM, doctoral, specialization or other course listed in the call; eligible degree courses may be part-time or distance-taught, and applicants must enroll by the applicable institutional deadline.
  • For 2026/2027, both household indicators must meet the limits: ISEE no more than €25,000 and ISPE no more than €50,000.
  • First-year applicants are assessed initially on economic condition; continuing students must meet course- and year-specific credit requirements, and all recipients must meet later merit checkpoints to retain the award.
  • International students may apply; applicants with family income or assets abroad must follow the call’s route for official, translated and legalized financial documentation.
  • ER.GO states no nationality restriction and no prior Emilia-Romagna residency requirement, but recipients must enroll in an eligible institution covered by the call.
