BI-Luiss Joint Masters in Marketing Scholarship — Master's Scholarship

The BI-Luiss Joint Masters in Marketing Scholarship supports applicants admitted to the two-year joint marketing master run by BI Norwegian Business School and Luiss University. Students complete the first year at BI in Oslo and the second at Luiss in Rome.

The scholarship is selected jointly by the two universities for applicants with strong academic records. The 2026 cycle is closed, and BI states that its full-time application portal opens again on 1 November.

Benefits & funding

Full tuition fees for every semester, for up to two years, subject to academic progression.
BI funds the first year and Luiss funds the second year.
Luiss states that up to two scholarships are available for the 2026/27 intake.
Continuation requires 30 ECTS each semester, at least a cumulative B on BI’s ECTS scale after every semester, and fulfilment of BI Ambassador responsibilities.

Eligibility

Open to candidates of Norwegian or international citizenship; no nationality or residency restriction is stated.
Applicants must be admitted to the BI–Luiss Joint Master in Marketing and must be seeking their first master’s degree.
Scholarship consideration requires a minimum overall GPA of 4.0 on the ECTS scale; BI converts grades from international education.
Programme admission requires a 180-ECTS bachelor’s degree in business administration or marketing, or a relevant bachelor’s degree with at least 80 ECTS in a suitable area, plus specified foundations in marketing, economics or finance, and statistics or econometrics.
Programme admission also requires at least a 3.50 ECTS GPA and grade C in relevant marketing, statistics, and economics courses.
Unless BI grants a waiver, applicants must meet one listed aptitude-test threshold—GMAT Focus 555, GMAT 600, or GRE Quantitative 158—and one English threshold—TOEFL 90 or IELTS Academic 6.5. BI states that waivers are not automatic.

Prepare a CV or resume and a scholarship application letter of no more than one page, combine them into one PDF, and upload it under Scholarship.

Submit the complete admission application and all required documentation by 1 March; scholarship applications are not accepted by email.

Accept any admission offer while awaiting the separate scholarship decision. No additional documents are accepted after submission.

If selected, accept the scholarship by the date stated in the offer.
