The BC Nonwovens Scholarship is a named award within the IESE International Foundation Scholarship Program for women from developing countries with limited financial resources. It supports candidates applying to IESE’s full-time MBA in Barcelona.
The September 2027 MBA intake offers traditional and flexible tracks lasting 15 or 19 months. Scholarship applications are submitted with the MBA application and reviewed after admission to the program.
Benefits & funding
- IESE states that individual MBA scholarships typically cover 10% to 50% of tuition, but it does not publish a BC Nonwovens-specific percentage.
- Living expenses are not covered by IESE scholarships.
- In exceptional cases, IESE may combine scholarships.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be women from developing countries with limited financial resources; IESE does not publish the eligible country list.
- Candidates must apply to and be accepted into the IESE full-time MBA.
- MBA applicants must hold an undergraduate degree, submit a GMAT or GRE result, and meet the English-language requirement if they are not native English speakers.
- Fully company-sponsored candidates are discouraged from applying because IESE scholarships are intended for applicants with financial limitations.

Application process
- 1Complete the IESE MBA application for the September 2027 intake by one of the four admissions-round deadlines.
- 2Select up to three scholarships in the MBA application and include the BC Nonwovens Scholarship among the choices.
- 3Submit the required scholarship essay with the MBA application and explain any exceptional financial circumstances clearly.
- 4Provide supporting financial documents if requested, such as tax returns, salary evidence, recent bank statements or medical-care records.
- 5IESE considers the scholarship application only after MBA admission; its Scholarship Committee reviews applications once per admissions round.
