Bartolomé-Carreño Scholarship — Master's Scholarship

The Bartolomé-Carreño Scholarship is one of the named awards within the IESE International Foundation Scholarship Program. It is available through IESE’s Master in Finance and Master in Management scholarship listings and supports study at IESE in Madrid.

The scholarship is open to candidates from any country. Applicants from rural or sparsely populated areas receive preference, but this is not a nationality or residence requirement.

Benefits & funding

The award provides scholarship support toward an IESE MiF or MiM; IESE does not publish the value of this named award.
The MiM lasts 11 months; the MiF has a nine-month academic phase followed by a mandatory internship lasting at least three months.
The scholarship page does not state that living costs, travel, or accommodation are covered.

Eligibility

Apply to the IESE Master in Finance or Master in Management and meet the admission requirements for the chosen program.
Candidates of any nationality may apply.
Applicants from rural or sparsely populated areas receive preference.
For the MiF route, IESE admits recent graduates in STEM, economics, finance, or business with up to two years of full-time work experience, strong academic and quantitative preparation, and the required test and English evidence.

Application process

Select the IESE MiF or MiM route and complete its online application form.

Upload the required materials, including transcripts, a GMAT, GRE, or IESE Test result, CV, English evidence where required, one recommendation, mandatory essays, and a photograph.

Include the scholarship cover letter in the program application; scholarship candidacies are considered on a rolling basis.

MiM candidates without an EU passport must submit their application before May 1 because of Spanish immigration policy.
