The Bachelor International Scholarship is an entrance award from BI Norwegian Business School for international applicants with strong academic records. It supports students entering the Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Data Science for Business, or Bachelor of Digital Business.
Applicants must have an international education background, live outside Norway when applying, and be seeking their first bachelor’s degree. The eligible programmes for the 2026 intake begin in autumn 2026.
Benefits & funding
- Covers 50% of tuition fees for up to three years.
- Renewal requires full study progression of 30 ECTS each semester and at least a cumulative B grade on BI’s ECTS scale after every semester.
- Recipients must be prepared to serve as BI Ambassadors through recruitment and study-environment activities.
Eligibility
- Be an international applicant with an international education background who does not reside in Norway.
- Apply to and receive admission to the Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Data Science for Business, or Bachelor of Digital Business.
- Be seeking a first bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrate academic excellence; the scholarship is not awarded according to financial need.

Application process
- 1Choose one of the three eligible bachelor’s programmes and check its admission requirements.
- 2Start the programme application through BI’s online portal when it opens.
- 3In the Scholarship section, upload a CV or resume and a scholarship application letter of no more than one page, combined in one PDF.
- 4Submit a complete admission and scholarship application by the scholarship deadline; BI does not accept scholarship applications by email or after the deadline.
- 5Applicants finishing high school must provide final transcripts when available in June and no later than the end of the first week of July.
