The Bachelor International Scholarship is an entrance award from BI Norwegian Business School for international applicants with the strongest academic records. It rests on academic merit, not financial need.
It supports students starting the Bachelor of Business Administration, Data Science for Business or Digital Business, three-year programmes in Oslo. The current page covers the autumn 2026 intake; BI’s full-time application portal opens on 1 November.
Benefits & funding
- 50% of tuition fees for up to three years; tuition only, no living costs.
- Renewal needs 30 ECTS each semester and a cumulative “B” or better after every semester.
- Recipients act as BI Ambassadors, helping with recruitment and the study environment.
- BI awards one scholarship per student; it is tied to the programme and cannot be transferred.
Eligibility
- International applicants (BI defines them as holders of non-Norwegian citizenship) with an international education background who do not live in Norway; BI’s own wording of this rule decides.
- Admitted to the Business Administration, Data Science for Business or Digital Business bachelor’s starting autumn 2026.
- Seeking a first bachelor’s degree.

Application process
- 1Apply for admission to one of the three programmes in BI’s online portal and request the scholarship in the same application.
- 2Upload a CV and a one-page scholarship letter as one PDF in the Scholarship section; email applications are not accepted.
- 3Submit the complete admission application by 1 March; late applications are not considered.
- 4Final-year high-school students send final transcripts in June, by the end of the first week of July at the latest.
