The Autumn Korean Culture Camp 2026 is a six-day, five-night cultural-immersion program run by AYFN Academy in Seoul, South Korea, from 1 to 6 November 2026. Participants experience Korea through guided activities — wearing the traditional hanbok, preparing kimchi, and visiting Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, Nami Island, Insadong, Myeongdong, Dongdaemun Design Plaza, and the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). The camp runs as a paid program (from USD 950) with a competitive scholarship track that covers most of the cost for selected applicants.

Benefits & funding

  • Two scholarship tiers, both with a 100% program-fee waiver (worth up to USD 950):
  • Gold tier: flight support up to USD 750 + visa-processing support up to USD 50.
  • Silver tier: flight support up to USD 250 + visa-processing support up to USD 50.
  • Both tiers also include: shared accommodation (double/triple rooms, men and women in separate rooms), breakfast (×4) and lunch (×4), cultural and educational activities, sightseeing tours, local transportation, an e-certificate, and in-country coordination.
  • Not covered: full visa fees, additional airfare beyond the cap, travel insurance, internet, laundry, and extra meals (dinners are not included).
  • Self-funded participation is also available from USD 950.

Eligibility

  • Open to all nationalities.
  • Aged 17–40.
  • Interest in travel and culture; involvement in social and youth activities; demonstrated leadership potential.
  • In good physical and mental health.
  • All application documents in English (IELTS not required).

Application process

    Submit the pre-application and complete the online application form at the official apply page.

    Purchase the required AYFN e-book (“MAEUM – From Kicks to Culture”) and keep the payment receipt — one receipt is valid for one applicant only.

    Submit a CV (Europass format), a 250-word motivation letter on why the scholarship is needed, a 250-word essay on “Travel with a Purpose,” and the e-book payment receipt.
  4. 4
    Receive an email confirmation; shortlisted candidates are invited to an interview; final results are announced.
