Australia’s Global University Award (PUCA1026) is an automatic tuition award from UNSW for the Term 1, 2027 intake. It supports new international students entering eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework.
Recipients study full time on campus at UNSW; UNSW Online and UNSW Canberra programs are excluded. No separate scholarship application is required, and eligible admission applicants are assessed on academic merit.
Benefits & funding
- $10,000 toward tuition fees for one year.
- UNSW applies the payment to tuition fees in the student’s second term of the first year.
Eligibility
- Be an international student under UNSW’s definition: not an Australian or New Zealand citizen, an Australian permanent resident, or a permanent Australian humanitarian visa holder.
- Commence full-time, on-campus study in an eligible UNSW undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program in Term 1, 2027.
- Programs delivered through UNSW Online and UNSW Canberra are not eligible.
- Eligible students are ranked on academic merit.
