Associate Fellowship in Global Leadership and Peacebuilding for the Global South

Benefits & funding

• A bursary covering 25% of the MSc Global Leadership and Peacebuilding tuition fee for 2026/27.
• £5,000 toward living expenses in London.

Eligibility

• Application to the full-time MSc Global Leadership and Peacebuilding at King’s College London.
• Normally a 2:1 Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent in History, International Relations, Political Science, Economics or another appropriate subject. King’s may consider a lower classification or unrelated degree where the applicant shows significant relevant work experience or a related graduate qualification.
• Demonstrated interest in a career in peace, security and development, and alignment with ALC values including independent thinking, integrity, excellence, youth agency and respect for diversity.
• Final confirmation depends on unconditional MSc admission and obtaining a student visa.
• No separate residency, age, gender or fixed years-of-experience requirement is published.

Application process

   Review both the ALC fellowship criteria and the King’s MSc academic and English-language requirements.

   Create a King’s Apply account, complete the admissions application and select Peace & Security Fellowship rather than MSc Global Leadership and Peacebuilding.

   Create a separate account on the ALC fellowship portal and complete its application, academic background, supporting statement, CV and referee sections.
4. 4
   Submit both applications by the cycle deadline; the 2026/27 cycle is now closed.
