ASEAN Youth Exchange 2026 was a six-day in-person program organized by the ASEAN Youth Organization in Indonesia. It brought 50 youth delegates together for cultural learning, institutional visits and cross-border collaboration.
The itinerary covered Jakarta, Bogor and Bandung from 19 to 24 August 2026. Activities included engagement with ASEAN institutions, environmental fieldwork, university and cultural visits, and collaborative project development.

Eligibility
- Applicants had to be aged 18–27 at the time of the program.
- Eligible nationalities were Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam, China, Japan and South Korea.
- Applicants needed demonstrated involvement in youth empowerment, an NGO or a community initiative.
- Current high-school or university enrollment, or recent graduation, was preferred rather than required.
- An active passport was required; the page stated at least six months of validity and specified November 2026.
- The organizer aimed for at least 50% female representation and equitable country representation; this was a cohort preference, not an individual gender restriction.
