The ASEAN-Pacific Youth Mental Health Fellowship is Orygen Global’s six-month program that trains young advocates to plan a youth mental health project for their own communities.
Fellows join weekly online sessions with peer and expert mentoring, work on a joint advocacy effort and meet at a four-day in-person forum in an ASEAN country. The 2026 cohort ran from January to July; the next call has not yet been announced.
Benefits & funding

Eligibility
- Aged 18–30 on the Fellowship start date (22 January 2026 in the last cycle).
- Country of birth OR country of residence must be one of: Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tonga, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Niue, Philippines, Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Palau, Marshall Islands, Vanuatu, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tuvalu, Vietnam.
- Application and all participation in English, spoken and written.
- A weekly 90–120-minute online session, about 8–10 hours a month, and at least 80% attendance.
- A computer with camera and microphone, and reliable internet.
- No degree or work-experience requirement is stated.
