Art on Climate is an international illustration and short-animation competition organised by Fingertips Company Limited and sponsored by Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI). It asks entrants to interpret the single theme of climate change in their own visual language. First launched in 2019, it now draws thousands of works from illustrators around the world each year. Entrants submit original artwork online; winners share a €12,000 prize fund and are shown in an online virtual exhibition. The 2026 edition accepts work in two categories, illustration and animated video.

Benefits & funding

  • Total prize fund of €12,000 across both categories.
  • Illustration category: Champion €2,000; 1st runner-up €1,500; 2nd runner-up €1,000; plus 20 Merit awards of €150 each.
  • Animated video category: Champion €2,000; 1st runner-up €1,500; 2nd runner-up €1,000.
  • All winning works shown in an online virtual exhibition; every winner receives an e-certificate.
  • No entry fee to participate.

Eligibility

  • Open to anyone aged 18 or above as of 17 May 2026.
  • Any nationality and any location worldwide.
  • Individual entries only.
  • Employees of Allianz Global Investors Asia Pacific and of the organiser Fingertips Company Limited, their affiliates, and household members, are not eligible.
  • Up to three illustrations and three animated videos per entrant; original, unpublished work only — no AI-generated or photographic images.

Application process

    Choose a category — illustration (A3, 300+ dpi JPG, any medium) or animated video (10–15 seconds, 9:16 or 1:1, MP4/MOV).

    Prepare original work on the theme of climate change, with a short description of 30–100 words.
  3. 3
    Register and upload your work on the official site between 18 May and 31 July 2026.
  4. 4
    Await results, announced by 30 September 2026.
