Arctic Digital Nomads runs coworking hubs in small northern villages and, each autumn, picks a group of remote workers for a free stay. Grantees spend one to three months in Geiranger, Norddal or Eidsdal (Norway), Þingeyri (Iceland) or Vágur (Faroe Islands).
They keep their own job or creative work; there is no curriculum. The project is managed by Stiftinga Geirangerfjorden Verdsarv, a registered Norwegian foundation. The site labels this round both 2026–27 and 2027.
Benefits & funding
- Private housing with its own kitchen and bathroom, plus electricity and water, fully covered.
- A coworking desk in the local hub and a few group activities (still to be confirmed).
- One to three months, between February and April.
- Not covered: travel, food and personal expenses.
- Grantees are asked to give something back to the village in a way that fits their skills.
Eligibility
- Any nationality; checking visa needs is the applicant’s job, and the host offers no individual visa help.
- For people who work remotely; no specific technical skills, degree or age limit are stated.
- A partner and children go on one shared application and are admitted together; children cannot formally enrol in local schools.
- Pet-friendly housing can be arranged if declared in the application.

Application process
- 1Fill in the online form about yourself and your motivation, listing everyone travelling with you and any pet.
- 2Pay a 50 NOK contribution (about €4.90) to Stiftinga Geirangerfjorden Verdsarv via PayPal; the host says it does not affect selection.
- 3Submit by 15 October 2026 — submitted forms cannot be edited, and there is no way in after the deadline.
- 4Results by 1 November; no email (check spam) means not selected.
